Safety is not just a work matter – we live it 24/7. It applies to all aspects of our lives and at Powerplant we are committed to ensuring that we can all enjoy our life to the fullest, free from injury.
This financial year we are building on the new safety program we established last year, with further initiatives aimed at improving our safety systems, performance and culture. Our Safety Index, (which measures a range of lead and lag safety KPIs), employee and customer feedback all indicate that we are well on the way to achieving our 2022 Strategic Safety Objective ‘to be respected within the industry for our leadership and commitment to improving safety’.
Our Safer by Design branding is designed as a visual message connecting our people and customers to our safety program. It reminds us that our safety, and the safety of our colleagues and loved ones is our highest priority in everything we do, both at work and away from work.
