POWERPLANT Project Services Pty Ltd is a privately owned company consisting of designers, draftspeople and project managers. We have established a support network of skilled and accredited support companies within the Electricity Supply Industry that we call on to meet the needs of our clients.
POWERPLANT Project Services is in the unique position of being able to design and develop a solution to meet your needs, and to then source the most competitive price for you from suitably qualified and approved construction companies authorised to carry out electrical work on the network in your area.
This gives you an alternative to have your project completed without having to solely depend on the Supply Authority in your area to help you.
We manage construction works for you, we source materials for you (early in the process!), and we liaise with electricity supply utilities on your behalf. We are able to help ensure that your operating costs are kept as low as possible by arranging a review of your energy tariffs.
Our charter is simple – to solve problems for our clients as effectively and economically as possible.
Our clients include the electricity distribution business owners and operators, such as SP AusNet and Jemena as well as Vicroads, Councils, Road Construction Contractors and business owners and operators from the private sector.
Your needs may be as simple as erecting a new street light or as complex as connecting a new supply to your factory or your residential subdivision. You may need a new powerline or a transformer to connect supply to your property. You may wish to convert existing above-ground wires to underground. You may wish to increase the supply capacity to your property.
If your project is electrical in nature, we can assist you.
POWERPLANT regularly tenders works designed on behalf of our clients to obtain the most economic and effective means of completing your construction project. We have established arrangements with construction providers that allow us to respond quickly to you and to ensure that your project moves forward as quickly as possible. We maintain close relationships with the Network Operators and regularly liaise with them prior to, during, and following completion of turnkey contestable projects.
Our Project Design and Project Management team is constantly growing to meet customer demands. This team is available to assist you with your needs and we have resources at our disposal that can be quickly called upon to prepare design, project management, and construction solutions.
We are equipped with the latest design, drafting, and project management tools to enable us to remain responsive to your needs at all stages of your project.
Our team is located within 35 minutes of Melbourne CBD, just east of Dandenong, at Hallam. We invite to contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org, via phone on +61 3 8786 1666, or to call in person to our office at 163 Princes Hwy, Hallam.
OUR LEADERSHIP TEAM
Proud founder of an award-winning company, music man, father of three and lover of opportunity – Greg is a man of vision and many talents.
After kicking off his energy career in the SEC, he spotted an opportunity in 1999 and created a company which, project by project, he built into a thriving business that is creating a better industry for his staff, customers and the wider community. He works hard, has built a team around him that does the same, and takes great pride in their success.
Off duty (or as close as Greg gets to it) he enjoys simple times with family and friends, camping on the Murray out of mobile reception. His latest ‘opportunity’ involves launching a community choir in the City of Casey and it won’t be his last – a true entrepreneur.
John is a recognised business leader with over 35 years’ valuable experience in the energy industry. Generous with his time and knowledge, he is passionate about making a positive difference in the industry. His success in senior management roles at AusNet Services, TXU and Eastern Energy, demonstrate his ability to build collaborative high performing teams, and he was instrumental in developing Select Solutions into a successful national business, recognised as a Best Employer by AON Hewitt and in the top 40 Most Innovative Companies in Australia (2016 Fin Review). A proud father of six, John is a big supporter of our growth into the Western suburbs of Melbourne, perhaps influenced by his lifelong support of the Western Bulldogs Football team.
