Bass Coast EV charging stations

Scope of work

• Feasibility study, including determining need for CHMP & Vegetation Removal Assessment
• Negotiations with network authority
• Public lighting assessment and layout design
• Detailed electrical design

We are currently working with council on delivery of public electric vehicle charging stations across four Bass Coast Shire locations – at the Grantville Transaction Centre, Newhaven Visitor Centre, Wonthaggi Art Space, and Inverloch Community Hub. These will be 60 kW EV charging stations with 3-phase CCS2 and CHAdeMO charge points to enable fast charging.

The project is at procurement stage, moving to design then construction with completion estimated by March 2024. We’re excited to be supporting the council with this project and their goal to address key barriers to EV uptake, including range anxiety and town connectivity.
