How can Powerplant help?

We can evaluate your electrical asset concept design, ensuring it aligns with your project goals and industry standards, develop a scope of work, budget estimates and a delivery schedule. We can provide guidance on what may be required from other disciplines working on the project, ensuring seamless coordination and integration. We will assess project risks, including an initial impact assessment on vegetation and community.

Option 2 Project Management - AusNet, UE, Jemena, Powercor

When a development requires connection to the network, the customer is responsible for arranging and funding these works, and may choose to use an Accredited Service Provider, rather than the network, to complete the connection.

Our team is accredited with all Victorian networks and will ensure that all contractors involved in the design and construction of electrical infrastructure have the necessary skills to deliver a project that conforms to all standards. We will be responsible for the overall project management and will document, implement, and maintain a Health and Safety and Quality management system which provides effective control of all activities involved in the project.

With over 25 years of industry experience, our team manages the delivery of complex infrastructure works , ensuring compliance with utility standards while maintaining control over safety, cost, quality, and program.

From early stakeholder engagement and design coordination  through to procurement support, civil works oversight, construction sequencing, and energisation readiness,  we take a proactive, hands-on approach focused on buildability and certainty .

We work closely with designers, civil contractors, electrical contractors, and network service providers to coordinate interfaces, manage risk, and ensure compliance with utility standards and project requirements.

We offer a significant advantage to our clients by integrating civil and electrical project management under one roof to provide a single, coordinated delivery approach . This streamlines communication, reduces risks, and delivers smoother, more predictable project outcomes.

This integrated offering, along with our industry experience and relationships, delivers key benefits:

  • A single point of accountability across civil and electrical.
  • A strong understanding of network authority and utility interface requirements.
  • Proven track record delivering complex multi-stakeholder projects.

With extensive experience delivering complex projects for both government and private clients, we have built a reputation for effective stakeholder management, planning, coordination, and execution of works. Our team provides end-to-end client-side project management, ensuring projects are delivered efficiently, on time, and to the highest standard.

Electrical tendering service

Our tendering service offers support in preparing, submitting, and managing bids or proposals in response to requests for proposals, tenders, or competitive contracts.

This service is particularly valuable for organisations looking to compete effectively in a highly regulated and competitive marketplace, such as government contracts, construction projects, or various public and private sector procurement opportunities. These services help streamline the bidding process, increase the likelihood of winning contracts, and save time and resources.

Strategic advice

We recognise the value of early planning when considering project opportunities. We work with economic development teams within local and state government to establish ways forward for new business, new communities, and new infrastructure.

We work with electricity network businesses to develop and implement network improvement programs and we connect our customers with the information they need to make the most intelligent decisions for their projects.
